Each year, the math department hosts the Northeast Regional Undergraduate Mathematics Competition. The event is held on our campus in New Britain, Connecticut.
11th Annual Northeast Regional Undergraduate Mathematics Competition (2019) Results
The 11th CCSU Regional Mathematics Competition was held on April 27, 2019 at Central Connecticut State University. There were 10 participants, from 5 schools in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
Results
The top three participants were:

2. Carter Cobb (Brown University)
3. James Kulowiec (Central Connecticut State University)
The top three participants receive a free, one-year student license for Mathematica plus WolframAlpha Pro, and all other participants receive a free, one-year student license for Wolfram Programming Lab plus WolframAlpha Pro, courtesy of Wolfram Research. All participants can use the three-digit ID that they received on the day of the competition to look up their scores. Each problem was worth 10 points, so the maximum possible score is 60.
