Accelerate Central Pathways offer highly motivated Central Connecticut State University undergraduates the opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in as few as 5 years of full-time study. This enables students to enter the workforce more quickly, better prepared, and having spent less money. Students accepted into the program take up to four (4) graduate level courses, for graduate credit, during their undergraduate program. These students then officially matriculate into their Graduate Studies program the semester immediately after receiving their Bachelor’s degree.
All Central undergraduate students are eligible to apply to Accelerate Central after successful completion of 60 or more credit hours; of which, at least 12 credit hours must be completed at Central. Some programs may require more credits to be completed at Central before a student is eligible to apply to an Accelerate Central program.
Eligible students can apply to the pathway during their junior year of study. Selected students will be able to complete the undergraduate and graduate program in as few as five years on a full-time basis. The pathway program allows students to “double count” courses in both the undergraduate and graduate degrees; reducing the total number of credits and time required to complete both degrees.

“Following an Accelerate Central BS/MBA pathway is a great opportunity because it allows me to finish my degrees a year sooner. It also allows me to save time and money. I would suggest visiting the Office of Career & Professional Development if you need help with your resume and to also participate in the networking events because they helped me construct a great resume and resources for getting a job when I graduate.”
