Connecticut Registered Teacher Apprentice Program

Connecticut Teacher Registered Apprenticeships present a unique opportunity to “learn while you earn” in an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers develop and prepare their future teachers. Teacher apprentices obtain paid student teaching work experience while completing their university requirements for teacher certification. Connecticut Teacher Registered Apprenticeship Programs (T-RAP) are registered with the Connecticut Department of Labor (CTDOL) and administered in partnership with a statewide Joint Apprenticeship & Training Council (JATC). Please note: Teacher apprentice positions are contingent on district funding.
