Are you majoring or minoring in Spanish, or would you like to fulfill your language requirement while traveling in Europe? Then this program is for you. Our course abroad in Castilla-La Mancha, based in Ciudad Real and Toledo, will help you enhance your proficiency in Spanish while immersing you in the rich history and culture of Spain. You will also earn six credits.

The program allows students to improve their Spanish proficiency through formal classes at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, as well as through interactions with Spanish students, local residents, and host families. While immersed in the language, you will deepen your understanding of Spanish culture and history through visits to cities such as Toledo, Ciudad Real, Consuegra, and Madrid. Students will participate in local tours and extracurricular activities offered by the university.

Our program is based at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, one of the top-ranked young universities in the world. The city of Toledo itself has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Join us for a course that will enhance your Spanish language proficiency, strengthen your intercultural skills, and deepen your knowledge of the culture and people of Spain.
