Are you majoring or minoring in Spanish, or would you like to improve your Spanish language skills while traveling in Europe? Then, this program is for you. Our course abroad in Salamanca helps you enhance your proficiency in Spanish while being immersed in the rich history and culture of Spain. You also earn six credits!
The program allows students to increase their proficiency level in Spanish through formal classes at the University of Salamanca, but also through interactions with Spanish students, residents, and host families. While you are immersed in the language, you also increase your understanding of Spanish culture and history through visits to the cities of Sevilla and Córdoba in Andalucía and other important and historic cities as Madrid, Toledo, or Segovia. In addition to these long excursions, students also participate in local tours and extracurricular activities offered by the university. Three credits will be transferring form Universidad de Salamanca (WL 200/300).
Our program is based at the University of Salamanca- one of the oldest and best ranked universities in Europe. The city of Salamanca itself has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Come join us for a course that will increase your proficiency in the Spanish language, your intercultural skills, and your knowledge of the culture and the people of Spain.
