Scholarships and Awards

Central provides students Endowed Scholarships and Operating Scholarships through CCSU Foundation. Some scholarships are endowed scholarships dedicated to the CEGT department or a specific program, such as:

  • Abraham Family Scholarship for CEGT students
  • Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Scholarship for Graphics Technology program.

Students can apply for all the qualified scholarships through the Central Scholarships. Every year, there are at least 10 CEGT students receiving university scholarships.

In addition to scholarships, CEGT students have been awarded the Henry Barnard Distinguished Student Award (four awardees at Central), Dean’s Citation Award, and Departmental Award. In addition to the university scholarships and awards, students are also encouraged to applied for national scholarships and awards in related areas. CEGT students have won scholarships in graphic technology and cybersecurity areas from organizations and companies.

Graphics Technology student, Rebecca Magyarik, has been awarded with a GSCNE scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year. Congratulations!
