A group of Central students and faculty recently took a tour of the university’s new Proscenium Hyflex 2.0 classroom, located in the Elihu Burritt Library. The space enables faculty to engage with students physically present in the room while interacting with students online in real time, powered by 17 high-resolution cameras, immersive and spatial sound systems, and interactive display systems, among other features. Faculty across disciplines can use this technology to deliver lectures, host guest speakers from around the world, and produce virtual lectures.
