The University dates back to 1818 with the founding of an agricultural research and teaching institute that later became a college of agriculture and finally a full-fledged university in 1967. Aside from the numerous leisure activities, which may be enjoyed in the city area and its proximity to the Alsace region and Switzerland, the outstanding biological and agricultural science programs attract many students to the university.

The University of Hohenheim is surrounded by expansive parks and numerous blooming gardens, making it one of the most beautiful campuses in Germany. With the city of Stuttgart being a short distance away, students have easy access to fun weekend adventures.     Tuition: Students pay regular tuition to Central.

    Housing: Pay partner University $300-$400 per month without housing deposit. Room and board costs will be paid on-site in Germany.

  • Academic Subjects

    Biology, Biomolecular Sciences, Business, Communication, Economics, German Language and Culture

    Students may follow an intensive language course (20 hours per week) in the Deutsch als Fremdsprache program (DaF) during their first semester.

  • Housing

    Students will be housed in a student dormitory. Dormitory room reservations will be made by the international office or Auslandsamt of the host university.
