Students majoring in subjects such as Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, and Mathematics cannot apply for a single semester because these programs do not offer semester-taught modules; they must apply for two consecutive semesters (e.g., Fall 2026 and Spring 2027), and extensions after arrival in the UK cannot be approved.
Additionally, Economics is no longer offered, and students cannot take modules from the BA Hons Accounting and Finance or BA Hons Accounting and Financial Studies degrees due to UK professional accreditation regulations. Students are only allowed to select modules within their home major and must choose courses taught in their allocated School at the University of Lancashire.
