Central Connecticut State University has entered the esports realm, a billion-dollar industry, on Friday, Sept. 6 with a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to esports academics, competition, and recreation. President Zulma R. Toro, joined by members of the University’s eSports & Gaming Club, officially opened of CCSU ESports Center. After brief remarks, the President competed against Kizer the Blue Devil and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Donyell Marshall in the game NBA 2K20 (Marshall is a “Team Lebron” player).
