University Research and Creative Achievement Program (URCAP)

The University Research and Creative Achievement Program (URCAP) is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate student creative activity across disciplines.  The annual event – University Research and Creative Achievement Day (URCAD) – allows students to showcase their research via oral and poster presentations. Our campus community is invited to attend sessions, ask questions, and recognize our students’ accomplishments in creative activity.

Several CCSU economics students have presented their research at URCAD. In 2019, Edward Szalan presented his undergraduate honors thesis entitled “Orthodox and Unorthodox Economics: Evaluating the 1973 Oil Crisis Through the Lens of Three Different Disciplines of Economics.”
