Photographing Budapest

Budapest is a photographer’s dream. This Eastern European country offers great photographic opportunities. You will be immersed in the Hungarian culture. Budapest has quaint restaurants and cafes, live music, art museums, ancient castles, sweeping vistas, the Danube River and more all waiting to be experienced and photographed!

Budapest is Hungary’s capital and is divided by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. A rail car runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces city life from Roman times onward. Trinity Square is home to 13th-century Matthias Church and the turrets of the Fishermen’s Bastion, which offer sweeping views.

The Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden is one of the oldest in the world. It opened in 1866 and is home to over 1000 animal species. The Hungarian Parliament building, St. Michael’s Church, and Buda Castle are some of the highlights that we will see on our walking tour of Budapest.
