Jeffrey Peck, BS MIS (2012) and MBA (2016)

https://www.linkedin.com/in/peckjeffrey/

As a Central alumnus, Jeffrey Peck earned a bachelor of science in Management Information Systems in 2012 and a Master's in Business Administration specializing in Business Analytics in 2016. With Central as a cornerstone in his educational background, these achievements allowed him to hold several positions in the business world, each leveraging a different skill set from the courses taken at the undergraduate and MBA levels.

These positions spanned from starting as an Information Systems Customer Support Coordinator, being promoted to a Product Analyst, and then as a Business Analyst at Connecticut Online Computer Center for three years. These positions focused on Business Analytics in the financial technology space. From there, Jeffrey took a role as an Advanced Software Engineer at 3M Health Information Systems, which eventually led to his promotion to a dual role as Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master, where he is today.

In addition to his successes in the business world, the opportunity to return to Central in 2017 as an Adjunct Professor presented itself. This has led to almost seven years of teaching in the Management Information Systems department, many of which classes he was a student in as an undergraduate. He has also been nominated for the Excellence In Teaching award twice during his time teaching. Central has helped Jeffrey succeed in all these roles by offering theoretical knowledge and real-world skills. Now, he gets to provide that insight to new students each semester.
