Classroom Presentations

The Learning Center offers a variety of study skills and learning strategy classroom presentations for faculty. Classroom presentations are available on the following topics:

• Making the Transition: 30-35min
• Academic Integrity: 40-45min
• Time Management: 40-45min
• Memory Strategies: 1hr
• GPA Calculation and Problem Solving: 1hr
• Active Learning Strategies: 20-25min each
  • Building a Study Guide
  • Creating a Question Chart
  • Note Taking
  • Reading Strategies
• Exam Preparation and Post Exam Review: 30-35min

Presentations can be up to one hour only.

Each presentation begins with a brief introduction to The Learning Center and the academic support services available to students.

Flexible & Customizable

Our academic coaches are happy to:

• Visit your class more than once.
• Combine topics to best support your course goals.
• Tailor presentations to fit your curriculum.

Scheduling a Presentation

To help us prepare and schedule effectively, please note the following:

• Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
• Please provide multiple dates if possible, as we cannot guarantee availability for a first-choice date.
