Applying for Admission

For consideration, applicants must submit the following:

Required

1. A completed online application with supplemental materials (ccsu.edu/apply):
   • Resume showing relevant experience
   • Essay describing:
     • Professional goals Research or training experiences that helped you prepare for the psychology program Information that may assist the department’s committee in reviewing the application
   • Two reference letters (academic sources preferred)
   • $50 application fee
2. Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (minimum GPA of 2.70 on a 4.00 scale and 3.00 GPA in all post-baccalaureate course work)

Preferred

1. A BA/BS degree in Psychology or related field
2. 18+ credits in psychology
3. Grade of B or higher in Statistics and Research Methods
4. Grade point average of 3.00 or higher in psychology courses
