The Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants (CIRI), formerly the International Institute of Connecticut (IICONN), was founded in 1918 and is a statewide nonprofit agency that provides legal and social services to immigrants, refugees, and survivors of human trafficking and torture in Connecticut to help them become self-sufficient, integrated and contributing members of the community. Each year, CIRI provides life changing services to roughly 3,000 children and families.
