CSU Alumni Get More With Central
Beginning Fall 2025, Central is offering all students who completed an undergraduate degree at Central, Eastern, Southern, Western or Charter Oak an opportunity for a free summer or winter course towards their Central graduate degree.
All CSU graduates who are fully admitted to any Central graduate program will receive a scholarship of:
- $3,000 ($1,500 per semester) if attending full-time
- $1,500 ($750 per semester) if attending part-time
Eligible students
- Must be earning their first credential
- Cannot be receiving benefits as a graduate assistant or graduate intern
- Have completed at least one full-time semester prior to enrolling in their free course
CSU Graduate Studies Scholarship for CSU Bachelor's Degree Alumni
- $3,000 total for students enrolled full-time (9+ credits).
- Awarded as $1,500 per semester for the first two semesters.
- $1,500 total for students enrolled part-time (6–8.99 credits).
- Awarded as $750 per semester for the first two semesters.
- Be a graduate of a CSU institution (Central, Southern, Eastern, or Western) or Charter Oak College.
- Be an incoming graduate student at CCSU (newly admitted—current grad students are not eligible).
- Be accepted into a master’s program starting Spring 2026 or later.
- Enroll full-time or part-time as defined above.
- Must be working toward first master’s degree.
- Apply to any CCSU graduate program.
- Once you are accepted, CCSU will automatically determine your eligibility.
- If eligible, the scholarship is awarded at admission and applied directly to your student account.
- The scholarship is split across your first two semesters based on your enrollment status (full-time or part-time).
