The Central Reservations Office prides itself on having a variety of facilities that meets all our clients’ needs!

All our facilities are “smart rooms” fully equipped with our standard computer, projector, screen, and lectern. Any other technical needs can be requested upon booking your space! Many of our facilities on campus can accommodate catering requests through our on-campus food service, Sodexo. Please contact our office about having food at your next event.

Memorial Hall

Memorial Hall is home to one of our on-campus dining facilities and includes two banquet spaces (Constitution Room – capacity 210 - and the Connecticut Room – capacity 85), the Tranquility Room, the President’s Dining Room (capacity 20 – priority to the Office of the President), Paul Gianaris Welcome Center, the Southwest Study Lounge, and the first University E-Gaming Center in the state of CT higher education system.

Hilltop Café

Hilltop Café is one of our two all-you-care-to eat resident dining locations on campus. Here you'll find a variety of items that accommodate any taste, diet or schedule. Hilltop Cafe has an established Simple Servings station, which is tailored to avoid the seven main allergens. One of the dining rooms can also be used as an event facility (capacity 183).

Welte Auditorium

Welte Auditorium is a large theatre, located in Herbert D. Welte Hall. The auditorium accommodates 1,814 people. The space may be used for music and theatre shows, lecture and speaker presentations, movies, ceremonies, and graduations.

Davidson Hall

Davidson Hall is our main administrative building on campus and is home to the following event facilities:

  • Davidson 123 is a small performance theatre. It can seat up to 50 people, or it could be used for a standing reception.
  • Founders Hall is a large, open-lecture hall style space. The maximum capacity for Founders is 100 people, audience style.
  • Torp Theatre is a proscenium arched theatre space, located in Davidson Hall. The theatre accommodates 360 people. Torp Theatre is most commonly used for music and theatre shows, lectures and speaker presentations, movies, ceremonies, and graduations.

Marcus White Living Room

Marcus White Living Room is a medium sized meeting room located on the second floor of Marcus White Hall. The space accommodates 32 people, at tables and chairs. In addition to a lectern with wired microphone, there is a large screen television.
