Welcome to the Office of TRiO Programs!
The TRiO programs are federal outreach programs designed to identify and provide services to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRiO serves and assists low-income, first-generation college students, and/or individuals with disabilities as they progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to baccalaureate programs. Central Connecticut State University is now home to four TRiO Programs: Educational Talent Search (ETS), Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS), Student Support Services (SSS), and Student Support Services – Teacher Preparation (SSS-Teacher Prep.).
