Central aims to create space where all students can feel welcome, recognized, and supported. Mosaic is both the event-planning board and lounge space dedicated to enhancing cultural awareness, diversity, inclusion, and celebration at Central.
Mosaic recruits passionate student leaders to plan events committed to inclusive excellence, cultural competency, and community growth. Mosaic is also a support system for cultural, religious, and social justice clubs to collaborate and find community.
Mosaic Clubs and Organizations
Central has over fifteen affinity student organizations. Mosaic helps connect these groups for multicultural celebrations and dialogue through monthly meetings and workshops. Mosaic collaborates with cultural centers on campus to help affinity groups access more resources and gathering spaces.
Mosaic Lounge
The Mosaic Lounge is located in the Student Center, room 205, and serves as a meeting and event space for Mosaic clubs. It is also commonly used as a study, relaxation, and prayer space for students. When present in the lounge, students have access to an open library and the lounge functions as an open library and gallery of cultural works.
