Central DNAP students featured in academic journal

Central’s Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) students and faculty are featured on the cover of the Fall 2025 issue of the International Student Journal of Nurse Anesthesia.
The cover photo shows the students and faculty participating in an epidural workshop at Integrated Anesthesia Associates of Hartford before beginning their obstetric anesthesia rotations.
Three Central students also contributed case reports to the issue. Sandra Palmer published “Anesthetic Management for Resection of a Left Atrial Myxoma”; Rebecca Kiss presented “Stiff Person’s Syndrome and Recommended Anesthetic Management”; and Rebecca Kalkowski published “Management of Intraoperative Bronchospasm.
The International Student Journal of Nurse Anesthesia exclusively features the work of nurse anesthesia students to introduce them to the world of writing for publication in a supportive, constructive manner.
