Central to Conducting High-Impact Research.
Central’s BS in Biomolecular Sciences prepares students for careers in biomedical research and for health professions. Coursework focuses on molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, microbiology, developmental biology, physiology, and current advances in biomedical research.
At the core of the program is student-centered research. These faculty mentored projects provide students with critical experience desired by employers and for admissions to graduate programs in the health professions and biomedical science.
Graduates of Central’s BS in Biomolecular Science go on to careers in the biomedical, pharmaceutical, biotech, and research industries. Following graduation, many Central Biomolecular Science students further their education in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine, become physician’s assistants or physical therapists, or enroll in accelerated nursing programs. Graduates are well equipped to pursue Masters and Doctoral programs in Biomedical Science.
