High school Transportation Institute begins for the summer

Central welcomed a new cohort of rising 10th to 12th grade students for the 2025 Connecticut Summer Transportation Institute on July 21. CSTI is co-sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Transportation and the School of Engineering, Science, and Technology at Central.
Coordinated by Central professor Dr. Brenda Zhou, participants will learn about land, air, and water transportation throughout the program that includes hands-on labs, field trips, a graduation ceremony at CTDOT, SAT preparation, and more. The institute runs from through Aug. 1 on the Central campus.
