Central Connecticut State University is regionally accredited by the New England Commission on Higher Education (NECHE). Integrated Anesthesia Associates’ Nurse Anesthesia Program of Hartford and Yale New Haven Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia hold accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).

Entry level students have full time on-campus/clinical requirements in conjunction with on-line hybrid courses.

Advanced specialization students are required to attend 2-3 on-campus sessions per year given that the program is accredited as "hybrid". Graduate students come onto campus in August, January, and May of each year. The on-campus schedule will be posted in advance for planning purposes.

There is no opportunity for entry level students to attend the program part-time. It is a full-time 36 month commitment.

The advanced specialization program is designed for the working CRNA.
Students are encouraged to undertake the predetermined program schedule over 5 or 8 semesters due to the structure and sequence of course.
