Form DS-2019 Processing

Congratulations on your acceptance as an exchange student at Central! This site outlines the steps you need to complete before arrival, including how to obtain your DS-2019 and apply for your J-1 visa.

You will receive an email with instructions to create your Terra Dotta Login, where you can begin the process of obtaining your Form DS-2019.

You will need to upload required documents through your Terra Dotta Login account. These documents include:

• Financial support documentation
• Copy of your passport
• English Language proficiency documentation
• Other materials required to establish your eligibility for J-1 student status

After all required documents have been reviewed, you will be notified when your Form DS-2019 is ready to download from your online account Terra Dotta Login.

Next Steps after Form DS-2019

• Pay your  SEVIS Fee and print a receipt before your visa interview at the United States Embassy:
  • SEVIS ID number (N00XXXXXXXX) is located on the upper right corner of Form DS-2019
  • Central’s Program Number is in “Program Sponsor” section on of Form DS-2019
• Make sure you have a valid passport
• Book an appointment at the nearest United States Embassy.
• Attend mandatory International Student Orientation (Orientation date and time will be emailed to you)
• Pre-Arrival Booklet
