"Yes, and Sisterhood" is a series designed to empower identifying Latina students by increasing their confidence and strengthening their decision-making skills using improv techniques, exercises, and games.
The first session will be focused on self-awareness and how much we contribute to being present in the moment. Sometimes, something that might be holding us back from moving forward is that our confidence level is linked to misplaced fear, and throughout "Yes, and Sisterhood" games, we will explore the "Improvisers World" to play around with the people who are in front of us, our movements, our voices, and our environment.
Each session will begin with journaling and at the end, time will be made for reflecting via group discussions based on the games that have been practiced.
