Mandatory Employee Training 2023-'24

Central is committed to providing a safe and nondiscriminatory employment and educational environment that complies with policies relating to affirmative action, discrimination, and harassment.

As such, every employee — including University Assistants and part-time faculty and staff — must complete seven training sessions in accordance with the University mission and its Affirmative Action Policy. (See list below.) Some of these training sessions are required only once during your tenure as a state employee. If have proof of certification from a previous training, please contact Dr. Jill Bassett-Cameron at 860.832.1653 or jbassett-cameron@ccsu.edu/.

UPDATE: We are happy to share that prior certifications have been uploaded to qualify for compliance. We recognize that there are two FERPA trainings available and we ask that you complete one of the two, unless you are faculty and staff and we ask that you complete both.

Please note some departments and groups, such as Residence Life, Athletics, Campus Police, and student leaders, will be required to participate in additional training.
