ASA-Academic Studies Abroad
Any study abroad program can get you to a country and find you a place to live. It takes a certain kind of study abroad program, however, to provide you with all the tools necessary to ensure that your experience is both memorable and fulfilling. That's why ASA provides students on all of our study abroad programs with such things as: An official transcript so that your credits transfer; guided excursions to other cities within your host country; personal attention before you depart and while you're studying abroad; Comprehensive health insurance; pre-departure and on-site orientations; and assistance getting your financial aid to transfer so you can use it on our program.

CIS Abroad-Center for International Studies
Studying abroad is a life-changing experience. It's also an experience that may not be for everyone. If you're asking yourself "Why should I study abroad?" your initial curiosity is a good sign. Most people choose to study abroad because they are looking for something new, whether that's a new challenge, new physical or social environment, a new start, or all of those. Among the many dozens of reasons why you should study abroad, many of those involve learning: foreign languages, foreign cultures, more about yourself, and/or more about your home country.
ISEP - International Student Exchange Program
ISEP is an additional option for you to consider when investigating study abroad programs. ISEP is a network of 300 colleges and universities in 42 countries cooperating to provide affordable access to international education for a diverse student population. CCSU students interested in ISEP programs will enroll through Southern Connecticut State University (see the International Education Coordinator in the CIE for details).
ISA-International Studies Abroad
ISA believes that by studying abroad, students not only witness another culture, but they also experience the culture by living a new way of life. We hope that students will gain a cultural understanding and personal independence that can only be achieved by living and studying in another country. Furthermore, we hope that students will continue to reap the benefits of study abroad by encouraging cultural understanding in their own communities. We recognize that this enlightening experience is becoming an increasingly precious asset as we encourage our students to become sensitive, responsible and contributing members of today's expanding global community.
SIT Study Abroad-School for International Training
SIT has been providing immersive, field-based study abroad programs for undergraduates for more than 50 years. SIT programs are based on the experiential learning model, which merges hands-on learning with reflection. Programs combine classroom learning with time spent in the field observing, interacting with local stakeholders, and learning from local experts.
