How To Apply

Applications will be open starting 6/1/2025 and will close on 9/1/2025.

1. Go to https://apply.ccsu.edu/apply/
2. If you have not attended Central as a matriculated student within the last two years, you will need to select “First-Time User”. Create an account.
3. Select “Start a new application”. A dropdown menu will appear. Students who are new to Central will select “Undergraduate Application”. Students who were previously matriculated students at Central will select “Undergraduate Reactivation Request”.
4. When filling out the Enrollment Plan tab on the application, you must select Part-Time (under Expect to Attend) AND you must select either Transfer or Readmit (under Type of Applicant).
5. Under the list of Majors, you will see Accelerated Nursing. Select it.
6. Under Term Applying For, your only option will be the Winter term.
7. The personal essay portion of the Central application is not required and you may enter N/A in this field. However, once you submit the application you will see a dropdown menu on your status page. This is where you will upload your letters of recommendation and your ABSN admission essay.
