Admission Requirements

Applying for Admission

For consideration, applicants must submit the following:

  1. A completed online application with supplemental materials (ccsu.edu/apply):
    • Formal essay focused on:
      • Academic and work history
      • Reason for pursuing graduate study in criminal justice
      • Future career goals
    • Current resume
    • $50 application fee
  2. Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (GPA of 3.00 or higher)
    • Undergraduate social science research methods course with grade of C or better
    • Undergraduate statistics course with a grade of C or better
    • Applicants with a GPA of 2.70 to 2.99 may be considered conditionally
