Prereq: TOEFL placement test, 16-week/320hour, Introduction to listening, speaking, reading & writing and grammar skills for non-native speakers of English: In this course, students will develop the basic communication and survival skills necessary to begin studying English for academic purposes.

Two Week US Culture Course

The Intensive English Language Program (IELP) has added a two-week US CULTURE course to its SUMMER 2019 course offering.

Course description:

Intensive (4 hours per day, Monday through Friday) language instruction with listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar skills support on topics related to American society and culture.

Course period:

August 12-August 24

Cost: $ 725

Two in-state field trips included. Students have the option of taking the CCSU’s institutional TOEFL on the last day of course.
