Taylor’s middle name, Ayanna, means precious flower in Siksika, the language of the Blackfoot tribe of Montana. The Greene’s have Blackfoot descendants on both the maternal and paternal sides of the family tree. Taylor always kept a dreamcatcher image on her laptop because she felt it represented the people surrounding her and celebrated the circle of life. The weave, inspired by spider webs, is meant to filter out bad dreams. For the Greene family, the turquoise represents Taylor’s parents, Walter and Sue, and the feathers represent Taylor’s brothers, DJ, Thomas and Cody.
