Description
By combining the practice of French with a thematic curriculum, our summer courses offer a unique immersion into French culture alongside students from all over the world.Classes are conducted by professors of Carré International with experience of teaching French as a Foreign Language.
Currently, the University of Caen offers two summer sessions.The first 2-week summer session, Language & Specialty(ies), combines a week of intensive studying and a week of exchanges and workshops on specialized subjects.The second session, Language & Modern Society, consists of a 3-week program that combines French practice in the morning and civilization and cultural tracks and visits in the afternoon.

Academic Subjects
Students will take 20 hours of classes in French language and culture. The following courses are offered during the semester:
Grammar
Phonetics
Civilization
Reading/Writing/ Speaking
Students that place in to a Level C or have an option of taking a Literature course or Business French.
Housing
Students will live on campus at one of the University of Caen's campuses.
