Transfer Students

We look forward to working with you and are excited you have chosen to study one of our dynamic STEM degree programs in the School of Engineering, Science, and Technology!

The Office of New Student Programs is reaching out to all new freshmen to answer a few questions and to register for an overnight Orientation experience. We (advisors) will build your first semester class schedule based on how you complete your Academic Profile - so answer the questions carefully and thoughtfully. We will go over your academic/program requirements and your class schedule with you when you attend Orientation.

When selecting your courses, we will use the information from your Academic Profile, your SAT/ACT scores (if we have them), and the results from your Writing and Math Placement Exams. If you haven’t already completed those, please do so now.

During your first semester, we will begin reaching out via email to schedule an advising appointment. We ask that you respond to the invitation by scheduling your appointment as soon as possible. During your advising appointment, you will learn about program and general education requirements. You will also receive your Alternate PIN from your advisor - the Alternate PIN is required, you can't register for classes without it.
