All applicants to the professional program for teacher certification at Central must submit basic skills test scores in reading, writing, and mathematics as part of the application to the professional program. Click here for more information.
Elementary Education applicants seeking certification in Connecticut must pass the Praxis II Elementary Education: Multiple Subjects assessments. There are four subtests; Reading & Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science. Central students must pass all four subtests prior to submitting an application to Student Teaching.
