Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Preparation in Biology for Secondary Education

For individuals with at least a bachelor's degree but not currently certified to teach, this program provides the course work and field experience to enable certification to teach biology at the secondary level.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Students should demonstrate a broad-based and integrative understanding of basic biological, chemical, and/or psychological concepts that prepare them for careers in health science.
  2. Students should gain an academic background that will meet the requirements for admissions to professional schools of medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, etc.
