"Roots and Vessels" delves into the intricate tapestry of human existence, exploring the profound themes of ancestry, the body, lineage, and family portraits. This exhibition features works by nationally acclaimed artists Andrae Green, Billie Lee, Daisy Patton, Lisa Iglesias, and Mark Guglielmo. The diverse works of these contemporary artists invite you to explore the multifaceted connections that bind us to our past, present, and future. The artists in this exhibition employ a range of mediums to convey the essence of lineage, reminding us that our roots are not just a place but a profound part of who we are. In many of these works, the body serves as a vessel for these stories.
