Dancentral performance: 'Perspectives'

Central Connecticut State University’s student dance company Dancentral presents "Perspectives" in Welte Auditorium on Central’s main campus and via livestream at http://www.ccsu.edu/dance. Admission is free, with suggested donations of $5 to $10 gratefully accepted in cash only. These donations, in addition to the funds raised from the bake sale and flower sale in the lobby, will be used to support the creation of Dancentral performances, as well as to fund Dancentral’s attendance at the American College Dance Association New England Conference in the coming spring semester.

"Perspectives" is a showcase of original student choreographed works created this fall semester under the mentorship of Dancentral director Erica Nelson, as well as other faculty members of Central’s dance department and alumni. Featuring a multitude of different dance styles, including contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and tap, the performance showcases the artistry of emerging choreographers and dancers at Central.
