Central Connecticut State University’s annual symposium will focus on the concept of teamwork strategies for providing health care to individuals served by athletic trainers. Professional level of proficiency in the athletic trainers’ clinical skills and accuracy in the medical decision process may benefit from closer relationships with various members of the health care team. The program will present participants with strategies for optimizing the level of patient centered care provided through interprofessional collaboration. Advancing professional practice will be enhanced by promoting interprofessional partnerships that ultimately benefits the care provided to patients.

This program is eligible for a maximum of6.0Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.
