Central’s AI Corridor is a transformative initiative designed to accelerate innovation, expand applied research, and integrate Artificial Intelligence into teaching, learning, and workforce development. More than a physical space, the AI Corridor serves as a collaborative ecosystem where students, faculty, staff, and industry partners can explore the practical and emerging uses of AI across disciplines.

The Corridor brings together advanced technology, hands-on learning environments, and research-focused spaces to support real-world experimentation. Students will have opportunities to work on senior design projects, applied AI challenges, simulations, prototypes, and industry-connected projects that help build the skills needed for the future workforce. Faculty will have access to spaces that support AI-enhanced teaching, interdisciplinary research, curriculum development, and collaboration with external partners.

Designed with both innovation and usability in mind, Central’s AI Corridor will help make AI more accessible, understandable, and impactful. The initiative supports experimentation with emerging tools while also focusing on responsible, ethical, and practical applications of AI in education, business, health, cybersecurity, manufacturing, data science, the humanities, and public service.
