This campaign idea is simple: by painting your ring fingernail purple, you are showing the world your vow to help spread awareness of domestic violence and displaying your support for Safe Horizon, the country’s largest organization helping victims of domestic violence get the crucial help they need in their darkest moments. Safe Horizon's mission is to provide support, prevent violence and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities.
How You Can Spread Awareness:
- Paint your ring finger purple. Take a photo showing your painted nail and tell the world why you have vowed to #PutTheNailinIt to end domestic violence.
- Share your purple nail on social media using the #PutTheNailinIt hashtag and follow @SafeHorizon on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.
- Take the Vow to helped domestic violence and the silence surrounding it. Write your formal vow here.
