Carousel - Digital TV Signage

The Student Center, through the support of staff in Marketing & Communications, is in control of several digital signage screens across campus. These screens are primarily used for event promotion to students, as well as important information the university deems necessary to advertise. There are three main locations in which the Student Center promotes the use of these screens:

  1. Student Center Entrances – Two screens each at the north and south entrances.
  2. Student Center & Dining Hall Interiors– Includes the hallways, Devil’s Den, Breakers Game Room, Memorial Hall dining areas, etc.
  3. Student Center Event Billboard – The large digital billboard located outdoors in the Student Center Circle.

On-campus departments and Student groups are encouraged to utilize these resources to promote their events on campus. Content can be accepted from the following campus sources:

  • All University registered and recognized student organizations
  • All administrative & academic departments within the University
  • All service departments on campus (Bookstore, Catering, etc.)

Ad space is limited, priority will be given to messages in the following order:

  • Emergency messages at the direction of the Chancellor of CSU
  • the President of the University, members of the President's Executive Committee and the University Police Department.
  • Messages from registered student organizations
  • Messages from all other University administrative & academic departments
  • Messages from University service departments
  • Commercial Advertisements

The Student Center reserves the right to (1) reject a request, (2) alter broadcast times, and (3) edit messages for space limitations, content clarity, and aesthetics, in the interest of the consuming community of the University. Digital signage should NOT be used for personal or political use, only for on-campus events and announcements.

Submission Deadlines:

Requests should be made at least one week prior to the start of the event in order to maximize effectiveness. Please limit one piece of content per event.
