Admission Requirements

Applying for Admission

For consideration, applicants must submit the following:

1. A completed online application with supplemental materials (ccsu.edu/apply)

   • Essay of 500-1,000 words focusing on academic and work history, reasons for pursuing degree, where and how prerequisite courses were completed
   • Letter of recommendation from either an academic or work source
   • $50 application fee
2. Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (GPA of 3.00 or higher, conditional admission may be granted to candidates with undergraduate GPAs between 2.40 and 2.69)
   • Students must have a grade of B or better in two applied statistics courses (such as CCSU’s STAT 200/201, or STAT 104/453, or STAT 215/216)
