Admission Requirements

Applying for Admission

For consideration, applicants must submit the following:

1. A completed online application with supplemental materials (ccsu.edu/apply):
   • Portfolio of 15-20 slides or digital images representing a variety of media that demonstrate your best studio practice
   • If focusing on a particular studio area, a series of at least 5 pieces that show a consistent, artistic direction
   • An essay describing your background, interest in the program, and work submitted in your portfolio
   • $50 application fee
2. Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (GPA of 2.70 or higher required)
   • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.00 or higher in post-baccalaureate coursework
