Dr. Kerri M. Langevin is an Associate Professor in her 12th year at Central Connecticut State University and currently serving in her third year as Chair of the Department of Nursing. Prior to transitioning to academia, Dr. Langevin built a robust clinical career as a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, working in diverse settings including community health centers, school-based health programs, and juvenile detention facilities. She also was the coordinator of a pediatric multi-specialty craniofacial team for over 8 years.
Dr. Langevin continues to stay connected to clinical practice, working on a per diem basis for a private pediatrician and her work with clinical instruction of students in the CCHEC, simulations in the pediatric courses. Her research interests center around doctoral preparation for nurse educators, community health, nursing student communication skills and the integration of experiential learning in nursing education.
