The Central Marching Band is a corps style marching band that includes color guard, brass, woodwinds, drumline, and pit percussion. The marching band plays at all home football games, large campus events, and travels to high school band competitions. The group provides a great social environment for making friends and encourages diversity.
Central Marching Band and Color Guard Scholarships
The Central Marching Band and Color Guard offers scholarships for students who join.
Central students who are accepted into the program are eligible for:
- $1,000 scholarship for instrumental students playing in the Central Marching Band and the Central Wind Ensemble for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- $500 scholarship to any Color Guard or Drumline student participating in the Central Marching Band for the fall semester of 2026.
Summer Marching Band Camp
2026 dates:
- August 12-13 - Leadership
- August 14-15 - New Marcher Mini-camp, Drumline, and Colorguard
- August 16-22 – Full Camp for all members
