Applying to the Program

Admissions Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's and master's degrees from a regionally accredited institution of higher education with a minimum graduate cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale.
  2. An established record of successful service in a leadership position that requires the Connecticut Intermediate Administrator Certification (092) for a least three school years.
  3. Program Admissions Interview.

Additional Required Application Materials:

  • Copy of 092 certificate
  • A brief letter of recommendation from the candidate's current superintendent
  • Contact information for two additional professional references
  • A personal statement (not to exceed two pages)

Instructions for uploading the 092 certificate, letter of recommendation, contact information for professional references, and personal statement will be found within the online graduate application. The admissions application, application fee, and official transcripts (except Central) must be submitted directly to the Office of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions office (graduateadmissions@ccsu.edu).

Application deadline: Applications must be received by April 15th.
