Lambda Pi Eta (LPH)

One of the highest achievements Communication majors can attain is induction into the National Communication Association’s honor society, Lambda Pi Eta (LPH). Founded in 1985, it recognizes outstanding student scholars in Communication and has more than 500 active chapters in the United States. CCSU’s Tau Mu Chapter of LPH was established in 2012 and each year an induction ceremony has included a festive reception for students, their families, and faculty.

Standards include:
- 60 credit hours
- 3.0 overall GPA
- 12 credit hours in COMM courses
- 3.25 GPA in COMM courses
- Enrolled in good standing
