No. The Central Community Health Education Clinic is not a primary care or medical clinic, therefore we do not diagnose or manage medical conditions. We do not administer treatments or medications, and we do not diagnose conditions or illnesses.

As a student-run clinic, we specialize in health education and preventative screenings. For medical treatment, prescriptions, and diagnoses, we advise clients to follow up with their primary care provider. If a client does not have a primary care provider, our students and staff will assist them in finding options for continued medical attention.

MicroFit evaluations are dynamic fitness assessments that can be used to track and measure progress toward your health and fitness goals. MicroFit equipment and software is used to measure various fitness and wellness parameters including blood pressure, heart rate, body composition (% fat), aerobic fitness, as well as strength and flexibility.

MicroFit evaluations are by appointment only and are available to the public as well as Central students, faculty, and staff. For more information about MicroFit evaluations or to schedule a MicroFit evaluation appointment, please call us at (860) 832-0235.
