CCSU is a community of learners dedicated to teaching and to scholarship. We prepare students to be thoughtful, responsible, and successful citizens.

At Central, students come first. Our undergraduate curriculum offers more than 100 majors in more than 80 fields of study. That means that students are much more likely to find a major that will prepare them for the careers they choose while it also deepens their understanding of the world. Students can pursue academic research, career-starting co-op programs and internships, and a growing array of community engagement activities.

With innovative learning partnerships with 70 leading universities in 40 countries, our international study opportunities prepare students to become global citizens, at home in the world and able to thrive in America's multicultural society.
